    Rare 19th Century Bloch Hand Painted Striped Commedia dell'arte Male Figurine
    Nice rare late 19th century Commedia dell'arte French porcelain figurine. He is hand painted with red and white striped hat and outfit, with a green and yellow cape. With gold gilt highlights to the edge of the cape and to the base. Marked on the bottom with a blue underglaze pseudo Hochst mark. This is a late 19th century French copy. It's been suggested to me that it may be Achille Bloch of Paris, and after comparing it to other Bloch figures online and to one in my own collection I believe this may be correct.
    He has one finger missing on his left hand and a large chip to his cape. No additional chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide x 5 5/8 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
